Fire Warden Training

Outline

Provides a basic level of competency in the use of fire extinguishers as per OSHA 1910.157 (Portable Fire Suppression Equipment), Subpart L (Fire Protection).

Target Participants

All personnel – office, transport, warehouse, field and workshop staff as applicable.

Features

Competence is demonstrated by participants successfully extinguishing real small fires using portable fire extinguishers in a controlled environment as well as obtaining a min. of 75% in the quiz.

Other Information

Due to location restrictions, a live practical may not always be feasible. So a free demo of how to use an extinguisher may be done in lieu of the practical.
