HSE Leadership Course for Managers & Supervisors

Outline

This course provides guidance for managerial and supervisory personnel in performing their safety functions with knowledge and understanding of the role that good leadership plays in the promotion of safe practices.

The program covers methods to encourage “buy in” from difficult employees and why some supervisors find it frustrating to deal with these employees.

It discusses a variety of situations that require tact and diplomacy on the part of the supervisor in order to achieve safe job performance and full employee cooperation in meeting job completion targets.

Also discussed are reasons leaders must create and reinforce a vision to establish a proactive safety culture.
